I would suggest an ICQ chat this Sunday at the following time:

11:00 am Pacific
1:00 pm Central
2:00 pm Eastern
7:00 pm Dartmoor

I hope I figured that right. I believe the U.K. is 5 hours ahead of
our Eastern time (EST).

I think for something like this whoever can "show up" should just do
so. There will probably never be one convenient time for everyone,
so I think throwing a time out for chat sessions is a good method.

My ICQ list is as follows:

Adrian(UK) #22105590
Nisa (NH) #1145206
Danielle (NH) #17580946
Mitch (OR) #22324381
Thom (OR) #5470533
Shannon (TX) #217123
Tom Cooch (VT) #22206087
Dan (MN) #22059683

If others of you have ICQ and will be available please let us know your
ICQ#'s so we can add you to our lists. The more the merrier!

If you don't have ICQ, consider downloading the program and installing
it. There download site is at
http://www.mirabilis.com/download/

Thank you.
Be there or be square!

Dan

Hi All

Now I am going to show my ignorance, (that's not difficult because there's
lots I don't know!). What is an 'ICQ' chat and is it possible for me to be
in on it from the UK in which case all and any help or guidance would be
gratefully received.

Thanks and Regards

Charles

Charles,
The ICQ download site is at
http://www.mirabilis.com/download/
You simply go to that site, download the program and install it.
You have to have a web browser to do this.
BTW,
Does anyone know of any other way to chat, to accomodate
people with Juno, or people who don't have a web browser?
I hate leaving people out just because they don't have the latest
technology.  Something about that is really distatsteful.

Ok, let's try and make sure that I have got this straight. I go to the site and download and install, and, I know that this may be tedioulsy boring, what do I do then?

I assume that I try to connect to a site where there is some sort of chat session going on, but where?

Anything else I should know?

Thanks, in advance, for bearing with me on this one!

Regards

Charles
